As we say hello to all the possibilities of a new year, we are taking a moment to look back on our achievements in 2023. 2023 was full of exciting award wins, a product release, community engagement, and more. In this recap, we’re taking a look back on some of the years’ biggest highlights.

2023 year in review infographic showing that Softrams won 13 awards, sponsored 16 conferences, held 42 brown bag sessions, hired 198 employees, added 1 new practice area, held 4 design challenge trainings, and had 43 participants in design challenge training

Award Wins

In 2023, Softrams was recognized by a number of organizations in the federal technology space as well as by international organizations for our innovative solutions, company culture, and outstanding executives.

Company Awards

Softrams won awards in 2023 from top organizations in the federal technology industry that recognize the company for its leadership in driving innovation. We received an OrangeSlices Elev8 GovCon Award and were a Cyber50 GovCon of the Year and NVTC Tech100 Company. Softrams was recognized for its growth and culture, being placed number 2,461 on the Inc. 5000 list of Fastest Growing Companies and being named one of the Fast Company’s Best Workplaces for Innovators. We were awarded three Top Workplaces awards for Leadership, Culture, and in the Technology industry overall.

Program Awards

In addition to these awards, two of our individual programs also were award winners in 2023. The Health Plan Management System (HPMS) Plan Benefit Package (PBP) won the G2X Disruptive Tech Award and the Innovative Design, Development, and Operations Contract (IDDOC) Accountable Care Organization Operating System (ACO-OS) won a FORUM IT Innovation Award. Both awards recognized these programs for their innovation in federal health technology, delivering digital transformation for the way that the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services delivers services to the American public.

Individual Awards

CEO Atchut Kanthamani and CSO Bryce Golwalla were recipients of FORUM IT100 awards for going above and beyond to drive change in the federal health technology community. Atchut also received an NVTC Tech 100 award as well as an NVTC Cyber50 award, which honor individuals in the tech and cyber communities driving innovation and pushing the boundaries of their industries.

Job Ring

In 2023 we publicly launched Job Ring, our referral management system. Job Ring was developed to democratize the recruiting process by empowering everyone involved – from recruiters, to referrers, to job applicants. Users who refer applicants for open job positions are eligible to receive monetary compensation for referrals and when a candidate is hired.

To date, 656 people have signed up for Job Ring accounts and have completed 374 job referrals. Referrers have earned up to $1,350 so far for interviews, hires, and 6-month employee retention. Interested in referring on Job Ring? Sign up today at JobRing.ai.

Women’s Resource Group

In May, our Women’s Resource Group partnered with local nonprofit Miriam’s Kitchen, which provides outreach services to homeless individuals in the DC area. Local Softrams employees convened at our Windsor Mill office to assemble care packages that were later distributed by Miriam’s Kitchen volunteers. Each care package included useful items like socks, sunscreen, and snacks. This volunteer event was also a great opportunity to learn more about the work Miriam's Kitchen does to reach homeless individuals and combat chronic homelessness.

New Salesforce Practice Area

The new Salesforce practice area joined our list of specialized teams last year! Our dedicated Salesforce specialists leverage a wealth of knowledge and experience as we develop solutions for our clients. We are excited to bring this expertise to our solutions in the new year and beyond.

Softrams Website Refresh

One of the developments we were most excited about for 2023 was the release of our website refresh at the end of the year. We have been hard at work bringing Softrams.com into 2024 with a fresh, modern look that reflects our forward-thinking and human-centered solutions. Our refreshed website highlights our practice areas and what they each offer for our clients. The website also provides refreshed information about our work and who we are as a company.

In 2024, we will continue bringing our innovative solutions to our clients and keep expanding to ensure we are delivering the latest and greatest technology. Keep up with our award wins, new contracts, events, and more on LinkedIn.
